2010 Tour Meet & Greet Analysis

We did this last year and it was enlightening. For some reason I found this tour difficult to get my head around. Europe, UK, Europe, back to the UK, different venues in the same city, venue changes, some US dates  I think for half the tour my mind was still in Amsterdam & many of these shows (the UK ones mostly) have become one in my mind. In addition, we had "meets" that begged the question - what is a meet and greet anyway? Since some seemed to be official (queuing in a designated space to await their arrival) and others more random (meeting them at the stage door or box office) I'm hoping everyone can help me fill in the blanks of whether there was a M&G in your city and roughly how many people were there. :)

M&G?
May 3 Amsterdam Melkweg ---- No
May 4 Amsterdam Melkweg ---- No. But about 15 of us met Jemaine in the box office lobby after the show.

May 5 Dublin Olympia -No, waited until 1am at the stage door. At first there was about 30, which whittled down to myself, funnys and Bakergirl.
May 6 Dublin Olympia -Nothing official but we met Jemaine going in the stage door after waiting about an hour.

May 11 Manchester Apollo -Official M&G (about 40-50 people at least were there, the guys were there for over half an hour anyway) and unofficial as they arrived (about 15 people milling around).

May 10 Birmingham NIA--- Yes. There were under 20 of us I think?
May 17 London Hammersmith Apollo----Yes. There were 10 of us.
May 25 London Wembley Arena----No (I didn't hang around for that long to see if there was but we've been reliably informed that there wasn't a M&G)

Thanks guys. I'll update shortly. We are waiting on info from both Glasgow shows, Manchester Apollo on the 8th, Hammersmith Apollo on the 16th and Wembley Arena on the 18th. I'll have a look around and see if I can figure out what's what with those.

If I remember correctly there was a m&g at 15th Glasgow and 8th (no one on here was there but there were photos of the guys with people somewhere on the internet).
Then Wembley 18th, Bret came out but Jemaine didn't.

Why is it that I can find any clear info on the Glasgow gigs?

As far as I know, there was no meet and greet on the 16th, there were meet and greets after both Glasgow shows on the 14th and 15th and there wasn't a meet and greet after the Manchester show on the 12th.

Using the info compiled here, of the 18 shows held so far we have:

8 yes to M&G
9 no to M&G
& 1 partial (?) with Bret only in Wembley on the 18th. If you count that as a yes then it's a dead heat :)

Last year the results were split pretty evenly as well.

So are you trying to mathematically determine the probability of a m&g at the next 3 shows??? Trying to see patterns and such??

No, I am just curious about how often they do M&Gs & this was a way for me to organize and see it in a clear way.
