I'm also going to buy an extra ticket in case one of us WTFers loses out on the pre-sale.

Also, I'm going to see if my friend who went to Eddie Izzard with me wants to go to this. She's really starting to love them.

Or is that a bad idea?

At this point I'm figuring on just buying 2 tickets tomorrow and then figuring out if I can go and if I can't I'll sell them to whoever needs them. Or is that a bad idea?

The less tickets you purchase at a time, the more of a chance you have of getting better seats. Buying 2 tickets is generally fine. I'd just avoid purchasing more than 2 tickets at a time. :)

Thanks Venus! :D

I'm going to book my flight for Oakland tomorrow after I get tickets. For those of you going to the Berkeley show, how long are you planning on staying? I was thinking about arriving on May 26 and leaving on May 29 to make it back to LA on time for the next show. I was going to see if anyone wanted to coordinate schedules in case you wanted to meet up before the show. If the weather isn't too bad, day trip to SF? Anyone?

Just a tip - If you want to make it out to the LA show too but need to save money, Southwest will let you fly from Oakland/SF to LAX for $49.

I was thinking of doing a really quick trip - fly in Friday AM, leave Satuday aft.

I have to see how my schedule works, but a SF day trip Saturday might work.

I'm going to buy a ticket to Berkeley but I am not sure yet if I can afford the plane ticket... :/

But if I can, who wants to split a hotel room? PM me!

I know. I didn't have the greatest experience at The Hollywood Bowl the last time I went. It's just too big. I think it's the largest venue in LA. You know how people say that there's no such thing as a bad seat when referring to certain venues? Well, they're liars!

I hope we all get seats close to the stage. Since they're kicking off the summer season at the Hollywood Bowl, BYO picnic basket.
