20 May - Bergen (European Tour 2010)

The place where all the 2010 European (and US) Tour threads are now moved to. If it's not there, it's here ;)

Remember I have to get to Gatwick and hang around for ages after checking in :D

So probably mine is a more crap journey.....also still trying to work out how to get from airport to hotel....without spending fortune on taxi.

Also getting music sorted....and trying to shoehorn myself into clothes.

Are there really no busses? I find that hard to believe. Do you want me to give them a call and find out? When are you landing?

My journey will take all night btw. And I decided to skip booking a sleeper to save money. Sleeping in a seat isn't impossible, but I know I won't get my eight hours. I just hope I don't get stuck next to weird or smelly person

I reckon all of us travelling to see FOTC can relate to this. :yawinkle:

I will wear it no matter how badly it fits. I quite like Zebra's expression "to shoehorn oneself into something", and that is exactly what I intend to do. As long as I don't breath too much I should be alright

I like the shoehorn expression too. But won't you be breathing often whilst watching FOTC and possibly even breathing heavily? I'm concerned. I don't want you to pass out during your first FOTC concert (coz we need photos and reports from Bergen dammit!)

I'll save the passing out for the meet and greet then. Zebra will be ready with the camera and we should be able to get some awesome action pictures

(The sad thing is that I will probably actually pass out if there is a meet and greet, just from the sheer excitement :worry: )

Just make sure you pass out when you're standing next to Bret so he can catch you! :D

Mais bien sûr

Come to think of it, maybe I should wear a helmet just in case :hrm:

If you wash the shirt and then shake it well and give it a bit of a stretch with your arms on the inside and then hang it to dry, you'll get a roomier shirt.

Unless it's a polyester/cotton blend...they don't stretch too much.

I can't wait to hear your reports from this show! So excited for you guys! :D

I'm probably going for the She-Ra/David Bowie top, and will also need a shoe horn.

Although the horse dress is looser...

I'll also pass out, like an embarrassing teenager...

(My flight lands at 23.05 - think the buses may have stopped by then. Need to allow some time for retrieving the suitcase and getting past immigration, it takes ages here!)

Zebra: There are four buses leaving after 23.05 -> 23.25, 23.35, 00.10 and 00.40 :D There won't be that many international flights landing after 23 so immigration will probably go quite smoothly, as long as you don't bring too much alcohol
