Dublin - May 5 2010 - Tour stop #3

Postby Venus » Wed May 05, 2010 5:36 pm

Please post about the first Dublin gig in this thread. Only 'post gig' related conversation here please :)

Please ensure you have read the Gig section rules (and if you've not done so already, the general forum rules) before posting.

Save your real lusting/swooning for the Brettylicious Flytour & Jemaliscious Business hours are definately not over threads and keep these actual gig threads more discussion based and less lustful (if that is even remotely possible   ).

To kick start it, here is the tour poster from the May 5 Dublin gig. By The Little Friends of Printmaking

"not such a weedy little shy guy"
I agree, I really like the extra weight on him, but by time they hit the states on tour he'll probably have lost it all again.

That's a great shot of them rocking out. Looks like they spent the big bucks on elaborate costumes.

Just back from Flight Of The Conchords!! They were brilliant!!!! I’m a little bit in love with Jermaine He seemed to be looked right up at us, we were stuck half way up the blooming balcony. Not nice and it next to never happens to me! But i was still able to enjoy myself, rumour was that because of the ash cloud over ireland at the moment that they had to get the ferry from Amsterdam today. They arrived in Dublin at 7!!! And you could see that they were very tired! :( But still they were fantastic and played for almost two hours, the banter between them and the audience was hillarious and the best bit was when the tour all their clothes off reveling glitter cat suits underneath for ”Deamon Woman” the best part was, they only did it for that one song and once the song was over they both picked up their rip off jeans and tried to button them back on I was rolling around the place laughing. The only problem i had was that it was not a standing gig. I would have liked to have bounced around and sung their songs like a proper gig! I hope you are going to see them soon

Some pics!! Not very good as i was stuck in the balcony :’(
