You might want to reserve choosing percentages until after Bret tears his pants off and shakes his moneymaker in front of you. :)
Just sayin' you might be swayed....

It's so good to hear they're doing meet and greets.
It also sounds like Jemaine was in rare form, losing confidence.
Oh, fish-like Lady
Lady-like Fish
I don't think so Bro, she's a Lady, Lady, Lady, Lady
No, no, she's a fish that's just a little bit
La-dy-ish! Yeah!

Ara wrote:Oh, actually I'm seeing them in Glasgow tomorrow! Though I'm hoping to hear what people thought of the venue and how it all went tonight! I saw Eddie Izzard at the SECC not long ago and it was fine, so I'm sure it'll be ten times better with a gig that has music!

Hi Ara! Did you change tickets? I didn't go and check through the thread but we definitely had you down as May 14.

Do come back tomorrow and post in the May 15 thread on the show. You must be excited!

Wonder if munchkin and curlisue will report in... :hrm:

Hi guys just signed up to your website after going to the show last night. Was simply amazing. Heres a list of songs played not in any order

Too many dicks
the most beautiful girl
foux du fafa
inner city pressure
hiphopopotumous vs rhymenocerous
think about it
ladies of the world
robots
boom king
albi
business time
I'm not crying
Jenny
Woo a lady
Carol Brown
Epileptic dogs
Back on the Road
Bowie
Demon Woman
Hurt feelings
We're both in love with a sexy lady
Sugar Lumps

Highlights etc
The smoke machine was quite heavy at the start and they were talking about getting trapped in a Scottish mist :D
Albi was done with Jemaine doing a Scottish accent for Albi's parts of the song
Bret was going to do the Korean Song but he forgot the word sheet
Jemaine screwed up Demon Woman and Bret managed to pull his guitar out, both funny moments
Inner city pressure was a request from the audience, they played a bit of Axel f during the synthesizer part.
As mentioned above Glaswegian girls were added to Ladies of the World, much to the delight of the audience.
They played for 2 hr 15 mins and were getting abit worried about missing there curfew at the end when they were hurriedly reattaching there trousers. But they said they would mind paying the fine as that was very Rock and Roll :D :D
Eugene was very funny opening for them.

It was always the 15th for me, but I fail so much with dates that when I was in the frantic frenzy of buying them and talking about it in the ticket thread, I probably accidently said the wrong date! Sounds very much like something I would do! :D

I am incredibly excited! I really didn't think I'd ever get to see them live! And it's great to hear the show in Glasgow sounds so fantastic *does a jig* I'm sort of half tempted and half too-nervous to see if there's a meet and greet afterwards, but I've never tried to meet anyone after a gig before so I don't really know what to do!

But I'll definitely come back and give a review!
