Either that is a big mirror or something there on the left of that picture or Jemaine is playing that guitar left handed :hrm:

It's the big screen from the back. You can see the image on both sides of the canvas(?). It looks like a mirror image from behind.

Evening Standard:

Truly special show from Flight of the Conchords
By Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard 17.05.10

4/5 stars

Robot wars: Bret McKenzie of Flight of the Conchords

Pop parodists Flight of the Conchords might be massive sitcom cults, but it has clearly not made their heads swell. For last night’s opening number, Too Many Dicks on the Dancefloor, Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie still managed to fit their Kiwi bonces into modest cardboard boxes.

Slightly flashier boxes than they previously sported, perhaps, yet the juxtaposition of megafame and oddball props made last night’s sold-out show all the more hilarious.

Despite the size of the venue the twosome effortlessly retained the self-mocking charm that made them Edinburgh Fringe favourites nearly a decade ago. Perched on stools, they eased their way through their extensive set, peppering pin-sharp pastiches of rock, rap and much more with confessions about their raucous on-the-road lifestyle — which extends to scoffing complimentary muffins and nearly getting stuck in lifts.

But it is the aching accurate musical send-ups and ludicrous rhymes that make the Conchords truly special and this two-hour epic did not disappoint, Highlights included Clement’s soulful sob-story I’m Not Crying (“It’s just been raining on my face”) and a turbo-charged Ziggy tribute, Bowie’s In Space. Best was their sublimely suggestive Sugalumps — “Honeys try all kinds of tomfoolery to steal a feel of my family jewellery”. Precious.

Hilary underscore JW... There are some amazing photos there, especially the shots of Bret.

Thanks for the link to those photos, Venus.

Seriously, are they going to wear the same shirts all tour?

They sometimes get on a kick, then eventually change it up. Remember Jemaine's love for the demim suit last year???

Venus , those shots are really great. Does anyone know - what's that little thing Jemaine is holding in the scarf shots?

I have no idea what that little thing is either, Nancy. It looks like it might be metal....some kind of clip?

At first I thought it was a guitar pick, but it looks metal. Was it a nail, or (dare I open a can of worms  ) screw? :dunno:

Ahhh! That's a match. After the 'I'm burning my hands' line in Demon Woman he lit a match and in those shots he's trying to convince the audience that it's still burning, like the crazy evil example of devilish woman-ness that matches are. :D
