I know! I too couldn't stop singing it for the first week after the concert! This one and 'on the road' are my new favourites.
And btw, since this song has sort of a spanish feeling to it i always thought they were saying "there's no more AMOR anymore" ..but that may just be my biased ears
But if you did I'd hold you tight / Into every single night And we'd fall asleep together / And we'd wake up in the sunlight Well, maybe I'm a dreamer / But maybe one day you'll see / That dreams are...
Haha, it's gotten so bad that today, when taking my Urinalysis quiz, I couldn't concentrate because all I could hear was this song! I seriously can't get it out no matter how many times I listen to it. I'd be worried if I isn't lovethis song so frogging much!
The bit about everything being interesting at the beginning of the relationship sooo reminds me of the Sally episode, when Bret says it takes 6 weeks before girls find him boring. Makes me wonder if maybe they'd started writing that song then...
Yeah, I love it too. I love the "Do it to them, Jemaine!"
I strum D - "Spanish" D (either drag all your fingers over the strings or drag the index finger slowly to sound the individual strings) - U - U- D (I sometimes strum on the upstroke going into the next section)
Thanks for the chords, lollerskates. I can't get them to work on the chorus but I think I may have grown accustomed to playing it "my way" and now everything else sounds wrong...even the original
Thanks to Ariadne at RAC for my gorgeous new avi :-)
I did this just very quickly today. I literally ran through it two times and then recorded this. So there are a few mistakes. And also, the song is sung almost completely out of my register (except Jemaine's harmonies which are a bit higher, but I haven't mastered them all yet, so I figured I'd leave that for another time). But hopefully anyone who is trying to play this but is having trouble hearing it or seeing a strumming pattern might find this helpful
