On the rottentomatoes.com site, there are some "making of" Toy Story III short videos. Kristin's in one of them.

Kristen is going to be on Letterman tonight. Just spreading the word.

That was a cute interview, but I'm disappointed in Dave's questions. He kind of made her out to be a nobody, and didn't even mention her book or her role on Flight of the Conchords. She was a good sport about it, but I wonder if she was disappointed too.

Yeah I was also quite surprised there was no mention of FOTC nor her new book but she came across well in the interview and made the most out of the questions she was given. It was nice hearing about her background but I agree that it would have been nice if she had the opportunity to talk about the many other projects she's been involved with.

Or Penelope, Princess of Pets. Or Toy Story 2!

I wonder if someone didn't do their homework, or maybe they decided to stay away from the "sixy" stuff...

I thought it was delightful. I caught myself belly laughing at her answers a few times, and to me that's the mark of a good talk show appearance. Plus Dave was having fun.
But now that you've pointed out the lack of mentioning a lot of her accomplishments, I see your point, but if I had never seen her before, I would think this is a very funny lady, and I'd like to see what else she's done.

Oh yeah, he left out Toy Story as well, and that is a very popular movie. Don't get me wrong, Kristen was totally charming throughout the whole interview, I'm just sore at Dave for not doing his homework. It would be one thing if she were a regular guest, because you'd want to find something new to talk about each time, but this was a big opportunity for her. Maybe I'm overreacting about this whole thing, but it really has me riled up for some reason.

I was happy with the interview. It's not like they had a lot of time to chat and I found it to be more fun than just coming on the show to promote every project you're involved in, although I'm sure Kristen would have made that fun too. A lot of her projects were left out but it made sense that Penelope wasn't promoted since the pilot was aired in the UK. Hey could have mentioned her role in FOTC but since they won't be returning for a third season, why talk about it too much? She did get to briefly plug a movie that's currently out (in a few days) and an upcoming project.
