Oh okay sorry I should have been more specific, my posts on the gig and meet and greet are on page 5. I saw 2 other people getting a hug from Jemaine but yeah that was towards the beginning of the meet and greet but there probably were more. They're very accomodating guys (they've had requests which are more 'out-there' from fans during meet and greets in the past ) At least you got to meet both of them and had a cool encounter with them. We can only hope that they return to these shores again soon for more live shows! :D

I really hope so! They are such great fellas! I actually found myself looking up flights to LA afterwards because I wanted to see them again so bad.

So did I! Seeing them live 3 times was just not enough.

Yeah I saw them live 3 times as well and I was itching for more! Tickets sold out so quickly and the shows were a great success so I hope their tour showed them how much we love them over here too. :)

I met Bret and Jemaine again after their show at the Hammersmith Apollo on May 17th. You can read about it here: viewtopic.php?f=65&t=3290&start=99

I also went to their Wembley show on May 25th. I couldn't hang around afterwards for long but a meet and greet wasn't held anyway. My recap of the show can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=65&t=3316&start=69

Oh and there are many people who went to multiple shows and didn't get to meet the guys cos they didn't hold meet and greets every night so consider yourself one of the lucky ones, Hels. :D

Thank you Kipples and Venus. I really enjoyed reading those!
I would have exploded if Jemaine had spoken to me from the stage!
It's so cool to read about your experiences with the guys at the meet and greets!
Here's to next time! :drinkers:

 Yep, to next time!

Haha, yeah it was pretty cool, I was a tad embarassed though! I think it's cos he recognised me from the 2 other gigs. I think he recognised quite a few people in the front row that night especially since he decided to 'impregnate' only the front row as the Hiphopopotamus. ;)

So you saw Sugalumps up close! Wasn't it one of the funniest things you've ever witnessed? :roll2:

It was flippin hysterical! I felt half sorry for and half envious of the girl. Didn't she deal with it brilliantly though?! :D

You know, I adore comedy and I've been very fortunate to have seen Eddie Izzard, Rhod Gilbert, Russell Cane and Dara O'Briain this year but none of them made me SCREAM with laughter like Bret and Jemaine! :prayer:

Yeah, she handled it so well! Dancing with the security guy was a spot of genius.. When Jemaine's tear-away jeans were falling off and he was accusing the security guy of wanting to touch his sugalumps and then Bret was like "Did security take off your trousers dawg?", I was laughing so much. :rolls:

I agree, I love comedy too but Bret and Jemaine certainly know how to thoroughly entertain an audience.

Their performance of Albi was another highlight for me. :D

Albi was awesome! I'm trying to decide what my highlights were...I know I loved The Wooing song because I'd not heard it before!
I wanted to leap out of my seat and dance when they came on so Too Many Dicks was a definite high for me and Sugalumps of course.
It's funny, the ones I was dying for them to play (Business Time, The Hiphop) weren't my faves on the night. Although I was VERY happy Jemaine impregnated the first 10 rows that night! :D
I want to ask you all so many questions but I'm not sure where to do it.

 Were you two at the same show or not? :P

Hels, were you aware that they were going to strip down to spandex or was it a complete surprise for you guys? :D

I guess it depends on the questions....but the intro thread I guess? What are you interested in? We have several nice photo threads as well. Check out the Fun and Games section if you want to get silly and creative. :)

Hehe, he is! ;) This was at the Wembley show on May 25th btw. I remember that it was the first ten rows in Birmingham. :)

Oh yes, I definitely enjoyed listening to 1353 (Woo a Lady) for the first time too, Hels!
