I'm so with Faith on the Richard Ayoade thing

He's half Norwegian too, which is kind of cool. Though that fact seems to have escaped the Norwegian media who are usually only too happy to lay claim to any C-list Hollywood celebrity with a Norwegian great grandmother :P 8)

My daughter has also turned me onto Ian Somerhalder. I don't watch Vampire Diaries but I tend to get stuck in front of the tv when he's on  Image Image

I read that somewhere that he was half Norwegian. So no one says anything about him in Norway? That's odd. I follow a lot of the cast from the show Community on Twitter and apparently Richard is directing an episode, so they keep tweeting pics of him.

@mrdonaldglover I don't have my glasses on, but even if I did, we don't look a like. #justbeenprovenracistbytheracistproover http://plixi.com/p/71498886

@dannypudi Had a blast working with the funny & kind Richard Ayoade this week. Now off to #SFSketchfest! http://yfrog.com/h5g46pkj

And Ian Somerhalder... he'll always be Boone from LOST to me. :D

I know, it's strange, in't it? I recently read this article on him too :
http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2011/jan ... NTCMP=SRCH and he seems like such a sweet guy, not to mention multi talented and gorgeous :)

I'm with y'all on Richard and Boone, I mean Ian.

Have any of you Richard Ayoade fans ever watched Garth Marenghi's Darkplace? It was only on for 1 season but it was brilliant! So weird and hilarious. If you can get your hands on it, you should definitely watch it.

Aw, Richard seems very sweet and modest. Reading that article, he kind of reminds me of Jemaine. Still kind of awkward. A bit embarrassed by all the attention.

No I haven't. I'm curious about it now. I wonder where I could find it at... :hrm: I've been meaning to watch The Mighty Boosh, now even more so that I've found out he's in it too.

Speaking of Richard Ayoade, I've been keeping up with some of the Sundance buzz and he directed a new film called Submarine. I've heard nothing but good things so far. It's something to look forward to. ItsAllRyche was lucky enough to catch the first few days of Sundance. I wonder if she got to see it.

I've not seen anything but YT clips of GMD and it just seemed strange to me, but I will see if I can find some whole episodes and give it a go. I'm always slightly put off by weird things to begin with, like The Mighty Boosh and Green Wing and then I end up absolutely loving it in the end :D

Faith: You have GOT to see The Might Boosh! You'll love it! ;D And Richard is quite cool as Saboo though he's not in very many episodes :)

Yes, biscuit, everything about GMD is very weird but wonderful. And you might see a familiar face or two from the IT Crowd besides Richard. :D

Well, I'm half an episode in now, and yes, I did see Matt Berry ;) But then I had to break for dinner.... I think it will take a bit longer to grow on me. So far I am loving the bad acting though! :D and also Richard sans specs and with dodgy moustache :)

Richard is very tall. I never really noticed that in the IT Crowd, but I guess since he's always with Chris O'Dowd who's 6'3" he never seemed that big. In GMD, he towers over everybody. I've only seen the one episode so far but I am also enjoying the bad acting. It's pretty funny. Weird but funny.

I find the more I watch Hamish and Andy, the sexier they become. :)

It's their great senses of humor....

Bumping this thread after a long, dry spell. This may seem like a truly odd one, but last week I kinda crushed on the grotesquely disfigured Richard Harrow (played by Jack Huston) on HBO's Boardwalk Empire. Here he is with my other crush, Michael Pitt:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfBzO8bQ ... re=related

Something got me - maybe his hair a little messed up instead of perfectly in place, and I took another look. Then I googled him, and found this interview:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GonNSSX_pL8

and these :thud: shots: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzZV_qBX ... re=related

He's got a little Johnny Depp thing going, which I adore, plus a tiny hint of Leonardo. I'm just hoping he doesn't get blown away on Boardwalk Empire.
Oh, fish-like Lady
Lady-like Fish
I don't think so Bro, she's a Lady, Lady, Lady, Lady
No, no, she's a fish that's just a little bit
La-dy-ish! Yeah!
