Aug. 23: The night Jermaine Clement from @fotc crawled to the front of the stage to hold my hand in front of 14k people @OddballFest #swoon

Source :)

They were really strict with cameras at this show. Cameras were seized and even phones weren't allowed to be used so people had to be sneaky about it. I hope the rest of the shows aren't as strict.

Yes and if it is FotC (or, as I prefer, Sex Tips :P ) this is essentially the exact setlist from the McKittrick show.

How does one take video on Instagram? Do you need to reinstall the app?

If you have an iPhone, as long as you have the latest iOS software and update the Instagram app through the App store, you should be able to view and take videos on Instagram. Not sure about other phones but if you have the option to update the app, that could work.

HQ photos have come in :D

Everyone’s favorite New Zealanders — Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, also known as the Flight of the Conchords — took the stage next with a slew of songs and stories from the road. It’s been rough for those guys: apparently they were stuck in an elevator for a while recently. Who knows how they were strong enough to pull that one out. Although their set was fairly brief, we were treated to some old favorites, including a version of “Song for Sally” that lapsed into a cover of Radiohead’s “Creep.” And, of course, “Business Time,” which seriously augmented my already massive crush on Jemaine.

Since their hit HBO series, the New Zealand duo Flight of the Conchords have built up a massive cult following here in the States. I’ve always seen them as sort of a hipster folk version of Tenacious D, which is by no means a criticism considering that they are actually quite funny. Flight of the Conchords may have gotten the biggest response of the night up until that point simply because they play music, which kept the audience more energized and engaged. Their hour-long set consisted of well-known songs like “Hurt Feelings,” “Inner City Pressure,” and “Business Time.” Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie also used the Austin crowd to test out a new song about a father and son, getting confused laughs from the audience as they fumbled the lyrics a few times. The real brilliance of the duo is their between-song dialogue, which centered around “wild” stories of life on the road that had much of the crowd in tears.

Nicole from the olden days was supposed to go. I was so close to getting to finally meet her and see the show, but she chose someone else as her "date." I couldn't get tickets that were worth the price/and not on the grass in the back. Plus the expense of the whole trip. But I debated with myself quite a bit. Nice to see everyone had a good time.
