As happy as this news makes me. I am a little anxious about it, considering the crowd issues they were having before. You know, all the shouting out, song request, etc... That kind of thing is just so annoying. :worry:

My sister is supposed to be moving out in March and while that lovely huge basement room may be in the middle of major construction (I'm building myself an entertainment center :D ) you would be welcome to stay there. :D

And I kinda like the idea of the songs being available in itunes... I think Sherry said about how they get ripped and posted online anyway... Well, apart from my total laziness at searching the internet for those things, I'd much rather give the guys their due.

You are THE CUTEST THING EVER. Conchords tour be damned, I want to go for a sleepover at Sully's! The offer goes both ways, my Adorable One. There's a snuggly bed here in London for you whenever you want it. I make great blueberry breakfast muffins, too. (Although I'm reliably informed that my coffee is more disgusting than week-old ditch water, so I'd definitely advise going with tea.)

Actually, I have to feebly confess that as soon as I read about this rumoured April-May US tour, I started thinking about whether it would be possible to time a trip to North America to coincide with it. Hmmmm. Hmmmmmmmmm....... Gosh, how fun would it be to go? If they're playing in New York or Boston, I'd be there in a shot. Well, food for thought. Indy? DP? Amanda? H? Would any of you guys consider hopping the pond for a crayzeeee fun Conchordian adventure?

Agreeeeeeeed. Before they released their album, I rather guiltily acquired the songs from the first series through nefarious and shameful means. But I'd much, much rather do it legitimately. I WANT to be a good person. I WANT to support them and give them money for new guitar strings and groceries and all the denim they can wear. I'm a little bit concerned that Bret will spend it all on bows and arrows, but I'm going to have to let him make that judgement call for himself.

This story must be a press release, I got the same article through Hollywood Reporter. I didn't even notice this line:
A North American tour is being targeted for April or May.

Unfreakinebelievable! This news has made my week if not my life.

:whitey: :whitey: :whitey:

I hope the tour is at least after April 15th coz I work in an accounting firm and we need to pretty much live there for the first 2 weeks of April.

Oh man! A TOUR! Hee heeeeeee!

Although, I must admit that while I an delighted at this news, I also feel a little bit of dread because I KNOW they won't come anywhere near Kentucky. Nobody does. And at this point in my life, with the kidlets and the mortgage payments and such, making huge roadtrips to see folk parodist duos in concert is a bit tricky. If I miss ANOTHER tour I don't think my poor little fangirl heart could stand it!

If only they would have an official fan club and offer exclusive pre-sales. But I won't worry until I find out what place they are playing at cause with the recent Live Nation/Ticketmaster split things are different.

As much as I'd love to be all crazy and stuff and say yis, I believe that school fees need to take precedent on a trip to the US to worship the hairy ones. :?
I hope other UK folkers can go though, I know my time will come
