Lol! Poor baby piano.

Heeeeeeeee! My mum always says that being cranky is the best sign that you're getting well after being ill, but I suppose going all Pete Townshend on your zygotic piano is the same sort of thing. Ow! Poor little piano. Good thing they're in New York, so that if they need to sheepishly acquire another one, they'll be able to sneak into FAO Schwartz in the middle of the night and grab it.

Speaking of FAO Schwartz and pianos, I'm having a wonderful mental image of Bret and Jemaine dancing on that floor piano like Tom Hanks in Big. Man, they should get one of those for their live show. I think I might just wee myself with childish laughter.

:whitey:

Sorry.

I appear to be talking nonsense again.

I can't stress enough how happy you make me, Turnip :)

I am DYING to get my feet on that floor piano from Big, ever since I first saw that movie like 15 years ago.

The two of them on that piano would be pure magic.

Got a tweet from nyc_specialist. They've been told that Bret has a 0% chance of coming out as he's not feeling well.

LauraK: how about this?

Thanks, Sully!

This one is for Bret's continuing bug/cold/flu... I hope it's not serious and he starts to feel better soon.

Major kudos for him for going on and giving his all-

Yeah, the red tiny piano was smashed to bits. :( They threw the loose keys out into the crowd. And brought another tiny white one out.

I don't know if it was being closer to center aisle or what, but the sound was HEAPS better this night. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Personally, I thought this show was 10 times better than tuesday's show. But my girlfriend liked tuesday better. So who knows!

My girlfriend's pic of the marquee was featured on BrooklynVegan (popular concert news web site)!

That's too funny. I was actually wondering if anyone got some piano shards!

Ah I see, looks like it wasn't a planned meet and greet if there were only 10 people unless a lot of people took what the security guards said seriously. Really hope Bret gets well soon! Glad they have a day off now, hopefully Bret will get lots of rest!
