The Tour Posters

Postby Cuse » Thu Apr 16, 2009 6:28 pm

I used to work in Print, and the tour posters I find fascinating. Could people post pics of each cities posters here? I picked up one for each NYC show, and can post later if there aren't any floating around already.

What happens in a city with a double header show? Just one poster, I assume?

I'd seen them all, 'cept the Albi one. And I didn't know there was a poster to match the magnets. :)

Yeah the poster which matches the magnets is based on a poster designed by fans which won the 'Fan Art' competition.

I love Tampa and DC's posters, those are awesome.

Does anyone know who designed the poster for Tampa? I was at Flatstock for SXSW and picked up some Bret and Jermain magnets from one of the artists there. I want to know if it was the same guy, the faces are the same so I would assume so.

:yay: :yay: I'm such a poster whore! I still have posters from the 80's when I worked at record stores. Haven't taken them out of their packing tubes in years but won't part with them either!

I am definately going to have to make sure I have money to pick one up or else I'll be devastated!!
Oh yeah- how much are these going for??? :nails:

Radio City ones were $30. One was numbered out of 350, the other was 300.

Yeah, I figured it would be pricey, but those posters are probably on really good paper stock. I bought a print at the Andrew Bird show and it was really nice. Single pressing, hand inked kind of stuff. Quality.

OMG....just 3 weeks away!!! :cheer: :whitey: :cheer: Oh happy thoughts.....
