So what would people yell out at a Lynard Skynard concert?

Silent all these years by Tori Amos? :D Or maybe the theme to Teletubies. The latter would be especially awesome!

Thanks for that Cuse! I've always wondered. I always thought it was a very earnest plea from very drunk fans. Who knew it had so much to it.

"Hey Ya'll, I'm destroying your city!" And the Bret and Jemaine angels looked on in approval.

I thought Chicago DJ Kevin Matthews had something to do with Freebird, but I never knew he was part of the driving force of it. Thanks for the history lesson Cuse
:offtopic:
At the time, during my misguided youth, I was proud to have earned a Kev-Head t-shirt from Kevin Matthews
he broadcast from a low wattage AM station (AM1000) which was able to boost the radio signal in the evening, so every night when he was on and it was time to boost the signal, he'd have women callers call in and suggestively moan while helping him try to get it up.....the signal that is
I think I still have it, he signed it, "Thanks Christina, for helping me get it up" and it says Kev-Head on the back, maybe I'll wear it to the show Tuesday.... .maybe not such a smart idea, er um, it might bring out more hecklers
If I did I'd hold you tight into every single night & we'd fall asleep together & we'd wake up in the sunlight. Well, maybe I'm a dreamer, but, maybe one day you'll see, that dreams are......
......Yeah, yeah she gets it, stop cockblocking me!

Yeah, the yelling of "Freebird" was started as a way to tell a band that basically their songs suck so they should play covers instead. Now idiotic fans like to yell it to be witty, but the guys have been turning the joke back on them.

And I hate to dis the song, but it's actually good. The solo drags on, but, well, you need to experience the "wonder that is 'Freebird'" ;)
They call it a fly because it takes you up to Heaven

I lurk left.... a lot.

It's Tom and Jacob's favorite Guitar Hero song to play....

(It makes me think of the end of The Devil's Rejects.)

Ohhhhhhh Whippet. I and my inflamed libido thank you. There's nothing like Bret flashing his sexy, sexy cufflinks to get me going. Happy Tuesday to me.

Nice pictures, Whippet! :thumb: So, the beard continues, and the beard is good... I am having a hard time reconciling that sweater to any kind of convincing rendition of Sugalumps, however. (Though the jeans help.)

That really is a stellar picture of Bret.

I read that he took it off before Sugalumps rolled around.....he looks handsome in it but a little too Mr. Rogers-ey to do Sugalumps, for sure. :)

I really want to hear Jemaine actually sing this someday wearing that cardigan.

My life would then be complete.
