May 2nd - Milwaukee, Wisconsin (early and late shows)

Postby Whambi » Sun May 03, 2009 9:14 am

Well, we just got back from the venue and I and 4everconchords (who is so sweet and who I unexpectedly sat next to during the 7pm show) had no luck of any meet and greet, there were about 100 fans to begin with and it dwindled down to just the two of us and we thought since the show ended around 12:10 they would have come out by now. :( We did meet Nigel though, he was a sweetheart. He said he will be touring with the Wellington International Ukelele Orchestra in September.

We are so tired. We'll write more in the morning!
If I did I'd hold you tight into every single night & we'd fall asleep together & we'd wake up in the sunlight. Well, maybe I'm a dreamer, but, maybe one day you'll see, that dreams are......
......Yeah, yeah she gets it, stop cockblocking me!

Can't wait to hear more about the show. I just came across this bunch of flickr photos. The change of clothes during the encore is absolutely hilarious. LOL at the leggings and even Nigel got in on the act too! :rolls:
"We thought the show was over, so we got changed and were ready to go home, but then you guys wanted another song, so... we're just wearing our regular clothes "

Those are the most amazing pictures ever. Maybe this is why they didn't do a meet and greet- they would have been too cold wearing their "regular clothes" out on the street!

ps- For as shy as he supposedly is, Jemaine seems to be entirely comfortable without a shirt (i.e.- Demon Woman, Business time, Prostitute).

OMGosh, I'm laughing too much here....can't drink coffee.....Lordy, they look like they're not going to do a meet and greet because they're heading out to the streets to make a little money as male prostitutes- especially Jemaine and Nigel! :rolls:
(Nigel looks pretty hot....Jemaine goes without saying.) :eyebrow:

Ooo, Jemaine's wearing the red stripey shirt...I like that one. :)

Sorry they didn't come out for a m&g but I'm looking forward to your accounts, Whambi and 4ever. :) You can at least say you got the first encore of this kind!

Whambi has to fill us in, but by the looks of the flicker photos that Venus posted, no they didn't. There are pictures of them in their classic back bends all over the stage in their original attire. Shame, that would have gone down as legendary.

Who knows, maybe the outfits will be a regular staple for the latter half the tour... oh, a girl can dream.

That's what I get for quickly skimming the pics of them with their "gig clothes" on and zeroing in on the spandex pics

Ah, that would have been......woo......legendary, indeed. I hope they do become a staple, it was quite funny! Now they'll probably have to contend with man-ho clothing being tossed on the stage, lol! :D

Wow! I"m so glad someone posted those pictures. I could not believe their outfits for the encores, they did wear them at both shows. However when they were leaving the stage Jemaine had on a blue sequined thong. Yes, you heard right. I sure hope someone has a picture of it! Both 4everconchords and I were on the Left side so we had Nigels and Jemaines mettalic pants glistening throughout the night.
Now if they would have worn those outfits during Sugalumps, I would have went into cardiac arrest  I still can't believe it. We are posting from the hotel's computers, I do have set lists I'll post when I get home. Only two encores at each show. The 10pm show was so much rowdier, Jemaine commented on the drunks and a section in the balcony about being with alcoholics anonymous.
I'm still taking it all in.................................................lets just say for pm we were row two and there were two empty seats in front of us and Jemaine took advantage of those two seats.........during Sugalumps..................

No. lol. So sorry to say that they didnt do SugaLumps in those outfits, they changed clothes for the encore. DRAT! DRAT! DRAT! Suga Lumps in those outfits would have put me in the hospital ICU unit.

OMG. Jemaine looked so hot in those gold spandex pants. As he left the stage Whambi & I immediately noticed a BLUE SEQUINED THONG.

I hope that someone has pictures, it was so quick that we both missed pics. Drooling and near heart failure I savored the moment, my brain wasnt functioning well enough to get the pics. When I saw it, I went for my camera & I got a 'system busy" *#*#* UGH! Still my eyes were peeled on a sixy rump & blue sequined thong. My brain is stuck on 'instant reply, I hope that it doesnt stop.

By the way, Nigels outfit was very sexy as well as Brets Zebra pants, Bret was rockin' out. He is irresistible.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - does someone have the vids or pics of this part of the show.

A thong over the gold pants? I certainly hope so but am suprised by his modesty. I don't know.... I didn't really laugh and I don't find Jem's ensemble sixy so ATM my reaction is pretty much  and :puzzled:

I think that the thong was peeking out as he walked off by the sound of it, no doubt on purpose. :D He is so cheeky for a shy-guy! It must be that whole performer vs real life thing.....but it's a good thing. :) They sure do know how to put on a good show!

Yup, I hope there are pics....

Oh yis, I'm sure you're right. You'll have to forgive me. I'm a bit delirious at the moment and strangely enough not from anything FOTC related.
