Yes but I live in KY. I don't know about Portland, I haven't talked to my friends out there in a few weeks.

The writer is a good beat reporter (if he is a little sloppy with the fact-checking), but is out of his comfort zone a little when he is not reviewing alt-country or straight rock.

Also, what is this factoid going around that the season 2 songs are not as a good or catchy as the first? They are a little different, simpler sure, but if anyone else was doing them, it would be "haven't lost a step."

I agree.....let's not get stuck on prior songs. Plus, the so-called 'season 1' songs were around way before the idea for the show. I love em all, some more than others. :D

Here's a review I got in a Google alert this morning http://twincities.decider.com/articles/ ... ium,27530/ It sounds like the guys had fun with the whole alarm incident

Just wanted to give Austin the credit for the idea of sending a SASE to another venue. Not sure if he did it or not though.

I gave it a shot and so far.....nothing. But I will blame the venue and not the guys for that.

I think I might just send it c/o HBO. I'm less interested in autographs, and more that they get the discs.

That review is so much better than the Star-Tribune's. ANd it's a parody of a newspaper.

HBO is based here and if they go back to NZ right after the tour and don't continue the show.....?

I'd send it to one of the last venues they're going to after calling first to see if they'd mind leaving it for them when they arrive. :) Or maybe even send it to a kind WTFer who's going to be at one of those shows.

Ah... I was just about to post this LauraK. It's the same amazing woman that did the "Too Many Chicks" video. Glad to see it was already on here!
