Not sure whether this was posted somewhere. Anyway, in case anyone was wondering where they got their shirts from (apparently around 50 shirts were bought in total):

FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS PAY ROCKMOUNT A VISIT BEFORE DENVER SHOW

Jermaine & Bret who write, direct and act in HBO's comedy hit Flight of the Conchords spent part of day shopping Rockmount. Their producer had to practically drag them out of the store to make the sound check. They were in Denver for a sold out Red Rocks show. They came in with their entourage including the New Zealand Philharmonic Orchestra (one guy with a cello). They bought a pile of shirts which you can expect to see on the show.

The concert was great. We got to hang out with them before the show. It was a night we will long remember even if we dont know exactly where New Guinea is...

:rolls:
But if you did I'd hold you tight / Into every single night
And we'd fall asleep together / And we'd wake up in the sunlight
Well, maybe I'm a dreamer / But maybe one day you'll see / That dreams are...

That's very cool! Good advertising for their shop! :)

Did we ever see "Jermaine" wearing the first shirt? :yawinkle:

Ha, in the third pic 'Jermaine' looks like he's making sure that shirt is just a bit too small. Just the way he (and we) like it. I love Hall and Oates! Didn't know that shirt had their names on it. :D

That'd be the sort of place I'd stock up with pressies for people back home. I'd never wear a shirt like that (sorry, but I wouldn't) but I'd give 'em as pressies to people :snakeman:

Why does the "I dream of Jeanie" theme go through my head looking at the third picture?

I actually think I've been in that store when I visited colorado with my family. It looks familiar, but I'm way too absentminded to know if I've actually been there or not for sure. Cool article!

Seeing "Jermaine" in that shirt in the article was the first time for me ;)

I love how Bret became so attached to that particular shirt . I wonder which other ones he bought from there.

Yis it did and it pained me. It also said Home on the Range (or something like that) on the back. The pic of Jem in the store is great and we didn't see him onstage in the first one but it's kind of nice.

Correction - It says Home for Christmas - it's on the site along with Jem's red & blue checkered shirts with the horseshoes. I assume he bought the slim fit.

Yay I listened to the 'badass' song people have been talking about :yay: (it's called 'Let You Down Easy' on the tracklist of the link I just posted). The quality of the audio is really good from what I've heard btw :)

Bus Driver's Song is terrific and the audio is really clear and crisp. :D

Hooray - thank you so much for this link. You rock, Venus. :supz: Only another 45 minutes before my download is complete... *looks at watch, rolls eyes dramatically* My computer is SO SLOW. I thought I was going to get a new one but it didn't work out. Boo hoo...

Jermaine... New Guinea... :rolls: I dig their shirts though. I can see me wearing one.

Bret's new favorite shirt is pretty cool. I wonder if it'll be his next "stripey jersey"?

Also, where was this person recording the whole show when we really needed them in Detroit???

Or atlanta for that matter! Of course can only kick myself for that one. I have absolutely righteous taping equipment, but was trying to be good and didn't bring it. 8)

Anyways, thank you venus! I've been wanting a recent live recording! I'm so jazzed!
