Ok, up at 245am, trying LiveNation link posted here & the ticketmaster link and both are displaying Tickets not available. I began trying at 250am & then at 1 minute intervals until 300am, figured okay they aren't gonna sell them until 3am this time. So now it's 307am and still getting error page tickets not available. Yikees! :bang: :bang: :bang: :hrm: :hrm: :hrm:

Am I an hour too early due to daylight savings time? maybe that's it. hmmm.

It'll be 9 am (their time) in 4 minutes. You're still up too?

I have no plans on going to this show but I just tried to see what I could get and I found 2 tickets-B3, Row 3. Had to give them up though. I wasn't sure if you wanted them or not, 4ever. :dunno: Did you have any luck? I hope a deserving fan scored them.

"...Their 18th May show at Wembley Arena will be the UK’s first comedy show to use Ticketmaster’s Paperless Ticket™ technology" :thumb: 8)

Flight of the Conchords dedicate first show to their fans by going with a parperless ticket
Wednesday, 31 March 2010 at 11:43

Flight of the Conchords – Wembley Arena’s first Paperless Ticket™ show

As Flight of the Conchords share in fans’ dismay at how tickets are being purchased and re-sold at higher prices, they are doing everything they can to try to minimize, if not hopefully eliminate this practice. In that spirit, their 18th May show at Wembley Arena will be the UK’s first comedy show to use Ticketmaster’s Paperless Ticket™ technology.

With the Flight of the Conchords’ 25th May, Wembley Arena show selling out within minutes of going on sale, the decision was taken when the second date (18th May) was added to make this event the venue’s first Paperless event to prevent these tickets appearing on the secondary market. This will also be the first Paperless comedy gig in the UK

Ticketmaster’s Paperless Ticket™ is a choice for those venues and promoters who wish to offer a more secure ticketing option to fans in the primary market. Customers are required to purchase their tickets using a credit card/Visa debit card and to arrive at the venue with same card and a form of photo identification. Their card is then swiped using Ticketmaster’s scanner and the customer given a printed seat locator detailing their seat information. It benefits both the consumer and the venue by allowing secure, smooth and fast entry to the event.

Wembley Arena General Manager John Drury said “Paperless Ticket events perfectly suit high profile, instant sell out shows, and so we’re delighted that Flight of the Conchords will be our first one. We knew that this date, which will be the last UK date added to this tour for the Conchords, would be another quick sell out, and we’re pleased that we will be able to help the band keep tickets in the hands of the real fans.”

Chris Edmonds, Ticketmaster’s Managing Director, said “The Flight of the Conchords wanted to make sure that the tickets got to their fans and to try and prevent any ticket resale activity above face value. Paperless ticketing will meet these requirements. It is another component of our commitment to provide our clients with innovative, secure and fan friendly ticketing solutions for their events.”

Cross-posting from the 2010 Tour Posters thread:

I was also asked to do a poster for the upcoming show that Flight of the Conchords are doing at Wembley. I think it’s certainly the biggest venue i’ve ever produced a poster for.

It was fun to do.

They will be available at the show, if you are lucky enough to be going along, and from http://www.postersandtoys.com afterwards.
